Deborah Ann Bew Liu

Deborah Ann Bew Liu is the president and owner of Aircraft Acquisitions, Inc. (AAI) located in Durham, North Carolina. Ms. Bew began her aviation career while attending Southern Methodist University where she co-founded SMU's flying club, earned her private license, and worked as an aircraft researcher for a brokerage firm. Upon graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration - Finance, Ms. Bew went to work for an aircraft brokerage firm in Raleigh, North Carolina as a saleswoman, and later earned her instrument and multi-engine ratings. In 1990 she founded AAI.As an expert in her field, Ms. Bew has also served as Chair of the National Business Aviation Association's Tax Committee, where she was able to exercise her knowledge of tax issues relating to aircraft acquisition, divestiture, and ownership. Outside AAI, she is a member of AOPA and The Ninety-Nines, and is also pursuing a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies at Duke University.
